Empowered by a love for self-discovery and continuous learning, I have dedicated my life to studying and exploring various holistic practices, from very physical Pilates-inspired movement and a wide range of yoga styles, to intuitive embodiment practices.

I use the sound of instruments to take my students on a Sound Journey. I’m deeply inspired by the non-dual view of Advaita- Vedanta and Classical Non-Dual Tantra, which inform my approach to mind-body practices. Living in Costa Rica for more than two years, I met indigenous people who work with Cacao. This profound encounter sparked a deep connection with them and this sacred plant, leading me to incorporate Cacao rituals into my offerings.

I believe these beautiful tools and practices can create a powerful impact, helping my students connect with their bodies and cultivate a deep sense of self-awareness.

As a certified yoga instructor with a decade of personal practice and six years of teaching experience, I am deeply committed to guiding others through the transformative journey of yoga and meditation.

Whether teaching individuals or groups, I am very attentive to my clients needs and to tailoring unique classes to serve them, wherever they might be on the path. My approach is rooted in Hatha and Iyengar Yoga with focus on healthy bodily alignment, creating a safe practice with the heart in the center to cultivate self compassion and emotional healing.

Currently, I am in my first year of psychology studies via distance learning from a Swedish university, with the vision of integrating psychology, yoga and meditation for an holistic offering.

Rute’s classes are designed to promote strength, flexibility, and balance, helping each individual achieve their personal health goals in a supportive and nurturing environment.

For me, Bikram yoga was a revelation several years ago. After earning my diploma in 2012, this powerful yang yoga changed my life. I taught it for several years in Paris before moving to Portugal and training in yin yoga. The perfect combo!

Today, I enrich these various teachings by blending East and West, dance, tai chi, qi gong, and gong baths. My classes are infused with music to create a complete and unique sensory experience. It is a true journey, an invitation to personal growth and self-discovery.
